Welcome to EnvironmentHQ!
Hi! I’m Tammy Endlish, an environmental compliance professional with over 25 years of experience, including 11 years at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) and 15 years as the owner of Endlish Environmental & Energy LLC, an environmental compliance consulting firm.
I was fortunate to earn a bachelor of science degree in Environmental Health (BGSU, 1992), a program that covered all areas of environmental compliance with practical, hands-on labs and training to learn how to carry out compliance activities for the manufacturing sector or to provide support by working for the government or consulting firms. Environmental programs like this do not exist today (or are rare) because the new focus is on green jobs, sustainability and global issues, which are not practical for the environmental compliance careers in the manufacturing sector. As a result, the new crop of environmental compliance professionals is learning via baptism-by-fire.
Whether you are a recent college graduate working in an environmental compliance field or if a company’s environmental program was thrust upon you later in your career, my aim is to share my experience and be a valuable resource to you!
EnvironmentHQ consists of the “Toolbox for the Environmental Compliance Professional” and the Blog, wherein guidance is provided on key environmental compliance topics and issues.
Starting in September 2018, I plan to publish one new article every week and will also be publishing my first book– Environmental Compliance Basics, by the end of 2018.
